Orthodox Mission in Windsor

East meets West at St.Andrew’s Church of England, in Mill Lane, Clewer, when the St.Andrew’s Orthodox mission celebrates its first liturgy in Windsor on Saturday 16th March at 9.30am.

Thanks to the generous hospitality of the Revd.Louise Brown, the St.Andrew’s Orthodox mission has been able to hold an evening prayer service once a onth. Father Peter Farrington says: “It is exciting to be able to celebrate the liturgy for the first time in the beautiful and histoic church of St.Andrew. Our small community of Orthodox Christians from East and West warmly invite the people of Windsor to experience our Orthodox worship on this joyful occasion.”

The St.Andrew’s Orthodox mission is part of the British Orthodox Church in the Coptic Orthodox Patriarchate.

Father Peter Farrington, and English priest, says: “We hope we can share the treasures of our ancient Orthodox worship with people here in britain in their own language. The service will begin at 9.30a, and will conclude with refreshments at 11.30am.”
