Windsor Christian Action (WCA) wishes to appoint a part-time Manager (average 10hrs pwk) to direct and develop the work of its Homeless Project. Currently, in addition to forty volunteers, the Project employs two part-time workers: a support worker, and a worker responsible for promotion, recruitment of volunteers, and fund-raising.
It supports the homeless and those at risk of homelessness by the provision of lunch-time meals three times a week, clothing , and shower facilities; and acts as a signpost and facilitating support to those guests who wish to make some change to their life style. The Project works with relevant statutory and other agencies when guests wish to engage in change.
