20 ‘My prayer is not for them alone. I pray also for those who will believe in me through their message, 21 that all of them may be one, Father, just as you are in me and I am in you. May they also be in us so that the world may believe that you have sent me. 22 I have given them the glory that you gave me, that they may be one as we are one – 23 I in them and you in me – so that they may be brought to complete unity. Then the world will know that you sent me and have loved them even as you have loved me.’

11th May: 7pm Dedworth Green Baptist Church, Smiths Lane, SL4 5PE. Women’s World Day of Prayer service (postponed from March due to snow).

This is a worldwide service, prepared this year by the women of Suriname on the theme “All God’s Creation is very good!” Those preparing the service have stated that: “The Christian faith community can make a great contribution to the preservation of a living, healthy and safe environment. The future of the earth for the next generations matters to us. We see this as one of the key elements of the Christian faith. It reminds us of the relationship between God and creation, and God and humanity.”

Please come and support this event. All welcome!
